About Me
I’m a 57-year-old tradesman carpenter, certifying drainlayer, business owner and part-time beekeeper. Being a practical thinking, no-nonsense person I can see through corporate speak and woolly thinking of bureaucratic spin doctors. This is a strength I will bring to the Whau Local Board. I will push Council for practical achievements and focus on simply getting the jobs done. I will focus Council on improving our footpaths and community areas and making our shopping areas safe to walk. I will demand that ratepayers money is spent on essential services and budgets are adhered too. I have deep concerns over the depletion of our beautiful local heritage buildings to make way for ugly cluster housing. I see our community changing very fast from the pressures of more housing, traffic and people. I will lead the forward thinking needed to make sure our lifestyle we so cherish is maintained for future generations.
