These figures show an appallingly poor commitment to the future prosperity of our young people. The Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area Act, which covers almost all of the Waitakere Ranges Local Board area has ‘enabling social and economic well-being’ as one of its objectives.
This pathetic contribution to the planning of future development of our areas business growth will leave our children as the poor cousins to the rest of Auckland.
