Waitakere Local Board Arts & Cultural Facilities

Waitakere Ranges Local Board OPEX (Operational Expenditure) Budget for 2016 is just short of $10 million, of this $900,000 is tagged for Arts and Cultural facilities. Within this budget item, 96% goes to one location.
The Lopdell Precinct development has been great for the Titirangi area, now it should be the turn of other areas. What is unfair about this budget item, is that these dollar values are budgeted at being exactly the same for the next six years, till 2022. This is NOT a fair distribution of money in one of the largest Local Board areas in Auckland.
