Blowing the creek at Te Atatu
From Ken Tuner's Uncles photo collection. He worked for a dynamiting company called Chatman's in the 50s and 60s. We think it is clearing silt to prepare for the piling of the jetty at Waitamata Rowing Club in the Henderson Creek. You can see the radio tower in the background that still stands beside the Lincoln Road interchange.
